On the Personal Side...

• Okay, take a look at this photo and you’ll understand why I’m the world’s giddiest grandpa! Abby Joy Morrow is now four months old. She sure is living up to her middle name!

• Our son, Kyle, has signed a contract with Baker Books to write a book on spiritual formation, which is his passion area. After getting master’s degrees in philosophy of religion and New Testament, he’s currently earning a third master’s in spiritual formation at the Talbot School of Theology. Next comes a doctorate.

• Easter got off to a great – and early – start this year. Some folks in our neighborhood set up chairs on a local basketball court and invited people to a sunrise service. More than 1,500 people showed up to hear music led by Rick Muchow and a message that I called "Decoding Jesus", in which I debunked the The Da Vinci Code’s denial of Christ’s deity. We also gave away free copies of Exploring the Da Vinci Code – and a lot of coffee and hot chocolate in the frigid (55-degree) California dawn.
